of 75 years of our Annual Auction!


This book is a unique and beautiful window into a part of the history and the community of the Back Mountain. It features a history of the Back Mountain Memorial Library auction with a collection of pictures of the auction throughout the years, images of clippings from the Dallas Post and Sunday Independent, Auction posters, and Sue Hand’s Auction paintings.


You can purchase the commemorative book of “75 Years of Memories” for $10.00 at the library’s front desk.

Tickets for this beautiful handmade twin size quilt, "All Stars" by Leslie Horoshko, are now on sale!


Tickets are available at the library for $2.00 each, 3 for $5.00, or 6 for $10.00. The drawing will be held the last night of the auction, July 10. You don't need to attend to win!


The quilt is on display at the library's front desk.

Original etching of the Back Mountain Memorial Library in 1962 when the library was located on Main Street in Dallas. The etching, done by Brian L Davis, was part of a donation and tribute to former Dallas school teacher Dorothy “Dottie” L Davis by her three sons Michael, Brian, and Jonathan at the 75th Library Auction.
